With a little luck, Sportivo Ben Hur's Montrell Harrell got control of the ball when Abuy Husodo tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jaakob Rahkonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Mario Rodriguez made a precise shot to the right of Severino Hulberto. Rivermania FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. 26 minutes into the match, Jedrzej Chrzan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Severino Hulberto. With a left leg Montrell Harrell saved Sportivo Ben Hur from getting behind. Montrell Harrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rosendo Flor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Mario Rodriguez left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sportivo Ben Hur fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. Montrell Harrell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erasmo Lorencio in the 45th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

With his leg Severino Hulberto managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Sportivo Ben Hur's Jorge Hagi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 57 minutes into the match, Rivermania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mario Rodriguez came free, but Severino Hulberto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severino Hulberto made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Jorge Hagi sent off a good shot on target. Severino Hulberto was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mario Rodriguez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-6 in the 93 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Sportivo Ben Hur eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
