Lázaro Marino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleazar Betzanos having to interfere. When Maties Toranzo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MILLONARIOS FC's protests and gave Maties Toranzo a yellow card for diving instead. After 20 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Maties Toranzo. Eleazar Betzanos made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Nemesio Dolfos sent off a good shot on target. Arne Kråk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eskild Sneftrup in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Xalvador Olmos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 26 played minutes MILLONARIOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Roberto Quicedo.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eskild Sneftrup stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Eleazar Betzanos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nemesio Dolfos, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Eleazar Betzanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fulgencio Chaime, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eleazar Betzanos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmar Joanes in the 67th minute of the match. Nemesio Dolfos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 69th minute Nemesio Dolfos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleazar Betzanos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nemesio Dolfos might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eleazar Betzanos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nemesio Dolfos ran back to his position shaking his head. Eleazar Betzanos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Dolfos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MILLONARIOS FC made a substitution. Bernard Milko replaced Uhin Encina. Xalvador Olmos made in the 77th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Potrerillo Azuleño's Hannes Hallik. A collision led to MILLONARIOS FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Xalvador Olmos hit a great ball. Eskild Sneftrup struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Arne Kråk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MILLONARIOS FC.
