The audience thought a goal was coming when Gasteiz Latorre got free with Herminio Arnas in the 4th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Herminio Arnas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gasteiz Latorre in the 6th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Gasteiz Latorre took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Herminio Arnas to make any attempt to save it. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flavius Pârâianu in the 19th minute of play. When Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Gasteiz Latorre in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Gasteiz Latorre managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters rose to their feet, but Gasteiz Latorre was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herminio Arnas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jeremy Avellana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavius Pârâianu in the 36th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Dalmacio Naike in the 37th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Del Manfredi. Jeremy Avellana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavius Pârâianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 43 minutes, Celso Trasloseros managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celso Trasloseros was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 45 played minutes ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Naike.

Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Anthon Öberg was substituted for Gasteiz Latorre. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB made a substitution. Anacleto Sobera replaced Flavius Pârâianu. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florencio Cordarryl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB defense, Anthon Öberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Herminio Arnas. Rodo's Guto Pirani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herminio Arnas in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 66thth minute of the game Anthon Öberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Herminio Arnas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 66 minutes, Anthon Öberg made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's Herminio Arnas tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Guto Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Club Dep. Soc. Rodo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guto Pirani couldn't finish the play. Jeremy Avellana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Florencio Cordarryl in the 71st minute. With a little luck, Club Dep. Soc. Rodo's Jeremy Avellana got control of the ball when Florencio Cordarryl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Herminio Arnas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anthon Öberg went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 86th minute, Everardo Berasko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremy Avellana was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. After a defensive mix-up in ANTIBOSTEROS FUTBOL CLUB's zone, Anthon Öberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herminio Arnas came out of the goal and Anthon Öberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Club Dep. Soc. Rodo players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
