The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Loco De Remate's Walmir Catarinense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Honorio Cresconio in the 4th minute of play. After some careless play in the RIVER PINAMAR fc defense, Rene Aires kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luciano Salomon. The RIVER PINAMAR fc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luciano Salomon should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute, Rene Aires left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Luciano Salomon, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Loco De Remate's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
