The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an all-out effort, Teodelina FC's Maurício Bomba threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Lukas Arlikevičius, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Peep Pronk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodelina FC's Franko Armani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peep Pronk in the 11th minute of play. In the 13th minute Peep Pronk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Teodelina FC's Lukas Arlikevičius in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AC LeX Luthor's goalie prevented a goal. When Peep Pronk came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the AC LeX Luthor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peep Pronk couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Franko Armani, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julian Boni during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Teodelina FC's Billy Sharp was substituted for Cristinel Buzoianu. In the 27th minute, Julian Boni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gyuro Tzonkin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maurício Bomba having to make a save. Franko Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peep Pronk in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peep Pronk in the 37th minute of play forced Teodelina FC's goalkeeper Franko Armani to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franko Armani stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peep Pronk's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Teodelina FC's Leopoldo Orlan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Atilio De la Cuadra, made in the 42nd minute of the game. Lukas Arlikevičius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Lukas Arlikevičius to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match, Tolek Chazen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franko Armani saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After 54 minutes Teodelina FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Pancho Branca who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Atilio De la Cuadra almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Teodelina FC's Franko Armani did a great save. In the 56th match minute, Teodelina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hilario Galo to maneuver through the defense. Franko Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tolek Chazen in the 58th minute of the match. Maurício Bomba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lukas Arlikevičius in the 62nd minute of the match. When Fernando Redondo fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teodelina FC's protests and gave Fernando Redondo a yellow card for diving instead. After 65 played minutes Teodelina FC got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Redondo. Franko Armani made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 67th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Silvano Baladi came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Alvaro Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Franko Armani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. D.J. 赵云 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Franko Armani made a huge save. Alvaro Errando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. AC LeX Luthor's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
