CF Scalonetos were awarded a corner in the 5th minute after Gastres FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Celso Salomon took the corner. 7 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin Neto came free, but Caupolicán Damjan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Caupolicán Damjan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teobaldo Belmiro. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teobaldo Belmiro in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caupolicán Damjan saved CF Scalonetos from getting behind. CF Scalonetos's Caupolicán Damjan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save CF Scalonetos from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in CF Scalonetos's zone, Benjamin Neto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caupolicán Damjan came out of the goal and Benjamin Neto tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Teobaldo Belmiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Caupolicán Damjan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After a rather tough play, CF Scalonetos's Geronimo Txindoki got a free kick in the 19th minute. In the 23rd minute Benjamin Neto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caupolicán Damjan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calistrat Geangu in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caupolicán Damjan saved CF Scalonetos from getting behind. Gastres FC's Mathieu Koning got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Caupolicán Damjan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Neto in the 28th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Teobaldo Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caupolicán Damjan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caupolicán Damjan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Neto in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Belmiro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CF Scalonetos's Caupolicán Damjan. Caupolicán Damjan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caupolicán Damjan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teobaldo Belmiro in the 34th minute of play. Gastres FC were awarded a corner in the 36th minute after CF Scalonetos's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mathieu Koning took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Mathieu Koning got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Caupolicán Damjan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Teobaldo Belmiro who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 48thth minute tested the skills of Caupolicán Damjan when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

Mathieu Koning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caupolicán Damjan having to interfere. Calistrat Geangu struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Caupolicán Damjan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gastres FC. 59 minutes into the match, Benjamin Neto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caupolicán Damjan. CF Scalonetos's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benjamin Neto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. After some careless play in the CF Scalonetos defense, Teobaldo Belmiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Caupolicán Damjan. The CF Scalonetos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Caupolicán Damjan should have stopped the shot. In the 65th minute, Mathieu Koning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gastres FC made a substitution. Feliberto Cuarto replaced Göran Nyström. Teobaldo Belmiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Teobaldo Belmiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caupolicán Damjan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Belmiro ran back to his position shaking his head. The Gastres FC fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Gastres FC's Teobaldo Belmiro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Teobaldo Belmiro might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caupolicán Damjan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teobaldo Belmiro ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 79th minute, Teobaldo Belmiro made a precise shot to the right of Caupolicán Damjan. CF Scalonetos's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Belmiro in the 82nd minute of play forced CF Scalonetos's goalkeeper Caupolicán Damjan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teobaldo Belmiro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Caupolicán Damjan having to make a save. Gastres FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
