Mikel Artetas short, quick shot in the 42ndth minute got Caupolicán Damjan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Anibal Cordeiro made the kick off in the second half. Victor Vulpăşin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tiago Gabriel Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes Real Còrdoba FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Celso Salomon who took care of the corner kick. CF Scalonetos's Celso Salomon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victor Vulpăşin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Caupolicán Damjan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Léo Messis, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anibal Cordeiro in the 58th managed to get into a good position. In the 68th minute of the match, Tiago Gabriel Carvalho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Victor Vulpăşin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Real Còrdoba FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
