Gastres FC's Geronimo Ongile played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Vázquez in the 14th minute of play. 15 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gastres FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Eliseo Bittor was slow to take the kick. During this time Luganeros AFC's players had a chance to rest. Eliseo Bittor made a great header on Luganeros AFC's corner, it was just that Gastres FC's Geronimo Ongile managed to reach the ball for a save. Gabriel Porfiro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Calistrat Geangu's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes of play, Luganeros AFC's Luis Vázquez made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Ongile was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Luganeros AFC defense, Benjamin Neto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Porfiro. The Luganeros AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Porfiro should have stopped the shot. Eddy Ginanjar got a throw-in 41 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Calistrat Geangu. In the 43rd minute, Zacarias Claus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gabriel Porfiro. The goal made the score 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Luganeros AFC's Yu Quan Di was substituted for Ricardo Oinaz. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Teobaldo Belmiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gastres FC's goalkeeper Geronimo Ongile, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Gastres FC booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Procopio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luganeros AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mathieu Koning ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Mathieu Koning almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Luganeros AFC's Gabriel Porfiro did a great save. A collision led to Gastres FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Zacarias Claus hit a great ball. After 76 played minutes Gastres FC got a freekick which was hit by Zacarias Claus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benjamin Neto in the 79th minute of play forced Luganeros AFC's goalkeeper Gabriel Porfiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 80 in the game by Yu Quan Di from a close distance when the talented Geronimo Ongile managed to make a qualified save. Gastres FC's players were relieved. Gastres FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
