Miromir Wnukowski dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Alvaro Ramiréz came free with the goalkeeper in the 12th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Zenaido Vergas could save by the left post. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Alvaro Ramiréz got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 16 minutes into the match, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goal looked a bit too open when Arman Akcebe came free, but Thibaut Vandamme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 16 played minutes Berenjenas de Punto Fijo got a freekick which was hit by Behram Vacit. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristiano Marzulli in the 18th minute of play forced Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Thibaut Vandamme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. But to his dismay, Juli Alvarez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Adolfo Gombal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Godofredo Tomi in the 58 minute of the game. Zenaido Vergas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juli Alvarez went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Zenaido Vergas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juli Alvarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Juli Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Juli Alvarez sped through ÇLÜB DĘPØRTÏVØ FÏMØR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Zenaido Vergas. Juli Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zenaido Vergas having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Juli Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Juli Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Juli Alvarez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. For all the effort they put into the match, the ÇLÜB DĘPØRTÏVØ FÏMØR players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Berenjenas de Punto Fijo.
