The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joonatan Schols showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Tekin Ongay hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the match, Internacional Pechofrío's goalkeeper Joonatan Schols had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alvaro Ramiréz. In the 45th match minute, Berenjenas de Punto Fijo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Otamendi to maneuver through the defense. Thibaut Vandamme showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timmy Siggman in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Internacional Pechofrío were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Berenjenas de Punto Fijo made a substitution. Juli Alvarez replaced Alvaro Ramiréz. Thibaut Vandamme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timmy Siggman, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Berenjenas de Punto Fijo's Dieter Denys quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ye Peng, made in the 92nd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Internacional Pechofrío's Ye Peng got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 94th minute Juli Alvarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joonatan Schols saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
