Gustaf Wickander came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo Galicia's Leonel Mesquita. But to his dismay, Leonel Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 11th minute, Maiorga Espriella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alberino Pujana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maiorga Espriella in the 14th minute of play. If Leonel Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustaf Wickander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Mesquita, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute, Jurand Cwenar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Real Quemado FC's Gustaf Wickander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Åke Granberg in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonel Mesquita got free with Gustaf Wickander in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Real Quemado FC's Gustaf Wickander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Real Quemado FC from getting a goal against them. Real Quemado FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Mesquita made a kick off. Gustaf Wickander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Åke Granberg in the 51st minute of play. Gustaf Wickander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Åke Granberg in the 53rd minute of the match. Deportivo Galicia's Svanbjörn von den Berg was substituted for Leonel Mesquita. Real Quemado FC made a substitution. Uzuri Maruri replaced Maiorga Espriella. When Daniel Ovies fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Quemado FC's protests and gave Daniel Ovies a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Real Quemado FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Daniel Ovies hit a great ball. Alberino Pujana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kong Bo Ning, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 76th minute by Uzuri Maruri got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Real Quemado FC's Abelardo Aguiar was substituted for Nesto Soldevilla. Gustaf Wickander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Svanbjörn von den Berg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 80 played minutes Real Quemado FC got a freekick which was hit by Latif Sunay. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kong Bo Ning in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alberino Pujana saved Deportivo Galicia from getting behind. After some careless play in the Real Quemado FC defense, Svanbjörn von den Berg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustaf Wickander. The Real Quemado FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustaf Wickander should have stopped the shot. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Real Quemado FC's goalkeeper Gustaf Wickander, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 95 minutes of play, Deportivo Galicia's Svanbjörn von den Berg made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustaf Wickander was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Deportivo Galicia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Real Quemado FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
