Korneliusz Rasimowicz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linterna verde. 9 minutes into the match, Linterna verde's goalkeeper Siro Jolis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jan Koller. 11 minutes into the match, Linterna verde's Paz Palacios sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Korneliusz Rasimowicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Orland Uceda came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Deportivo Ortegano fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orland Uceda couldn't finish the play. Siro Jolis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dario Draxler in the 15th minute of the match. If Orland Uceda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Siro Jolis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orland Uceda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With his leg Siro Jolis managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when Deportivo Ortegano's Orland Uceda fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 27 minutes into the match, Linterna verde's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Koller came free, but Siro Jolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Tirso Durango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Rasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute Paz Palacios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Korneliusz Rasimowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezary Lewandowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Siro Jolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Koller in the 38th minute of play. After 41 played minutes Linterna verde got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Piquero. In the 43rd minute, Deportivo Ortegano's Orland Uceda dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Korneliusz Rasimowicz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paz Palacios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tirso Durango to strike the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Ortegano's Korneliusz Rasimowicz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Deportivo Ortegano from getting a goal against them. Cezary Lewandowski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute Jan Koller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Jolis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Deportivo Ortegano's Korneliusz Rasimowicz got control of the ball when Aurelio Cisneros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lucado Terrilla hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Linterna verde made a substitution. Eate Urguia replaced Cezary Lewandowski. In the 67th minute, Jan Koller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 68 played minutes Deportivo Ortegano got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Vincente. When Deportivo Ortegano's Jan Koller in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Linterna verde's goalie prevented a goal. After 73 minutes, Jan Koller made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. Linterna verde's Siro Jolis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Deportivo Ortegano made a substitution. Basílio Caetano replaced Jan Koller. Deportivo Ortegano were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after Linterna verde's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ian Vaz took the corner. Linterna verde's Siro Jolis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Vaz in the 80th minute of play. Alexej Dragoun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Siro Jolis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Korneliusz Rasimowicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aurelio Cisneros in the 86th minute. Siro Jolis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Draxler, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Siro Jolis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Basílio Caetano went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. 93 minutes into the game, Basílio Caetano cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Siro Jolis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Deportivo Ortegano were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Linterna verde for a fine match.
