FERRABARCA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Peruanton Tamayo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Linterna verde's goal looked a bit too open when Peruanton Tamayo came free, but Siro Jolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Tirso Durango left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linterna verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Aurelio Cisneros sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peruanton Tamayo in the 15th minute of play forced Linterna verde's goalkeeper Siro Jolis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FERRABARCA FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Andrew Robertson in the 16th minute. Tirso Durango's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 18thth minute, Napoleon Dziedelonis skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 19 minutes into the match, Linterna verde's goal looked a bit too open when Peruanton Tamayo came free, but Siro Jolis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th minute of the match FERRABARCA FC got a corner. Linterna verde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Despite this Siro Jolis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimeno Piquero, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Linterna verde's zone, Sixto Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Jolis came out of the goal and Sixto Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute Aurelio Cisneros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30thth minute of the game Peruanton Tamayo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linterna verde's Siro Jolis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Peruanton Tamayo put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Siro Jolis. 34 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tirso Durango. Peruanton Tamayo might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Siro Jolis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Peruanton Tamayo ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Linterna verde getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Goran Tilov hit a great ball. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Tirso Durango sent off a good shot on target.
The wind increased when Tirso Durango made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Tirso Durango shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FERRABARCA FC's Pan Qiang Ran was substituted for Gökçek Yavuzalp. In the 56th minute of the match FERRABARCA FC got a corner. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aurelio Cisneros in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Napoleon Dziedelonis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A throw-in in the 67th minute of the game was made by Tomasz Nienajadlo with Jimeno Piquero as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jimeno Piquero in the 68th minute of the match. In the 70th match minute, Linterna verde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldri Wenas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tirso Durango in the 72nd minute of play forced FERRABARCA FC's goalkeeper Napoleon Dziedelonis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Linterna verde fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Napoleon Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Cisneros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
