In the 5th minute Cornel Răducanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dani Hernández saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornel Răducanu in the 8th minute of play forced Chivos de Punto Fijo's goalkeeper Dani Hernández to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Napoleon Dziedelonis was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nilmar Marinho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. After a rather tough play, FERRABARCA FC's Jaunti Bonilla got a free kick in the 14th minute. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaunti Bonilla in the 17th minute of play. Karl-Johan Valrot made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Andrew Robertson immediately put the ball in play. Dani Hernández showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaunti Bonilla, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Chivos de Punto Fijo's Nilmar Marinho in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FERRABARCA FC's goalie prevented a goal. Napoleon Dziedelonis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nilmar Marinho's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Chivos de Punto Fijo's Nilmar Marinho fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. If Nilmar Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After taking down the ball on FERRABARCA FC's corner Jaunti Bonilla fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dani Hernández quite easily take care of the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Jaunti Bonilla notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández. Dani Hernández was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Napoleon Dziedelonis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pere Bombardier's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Karl-Johan Valrot in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Chivos de Punto Fijo's Adalberto Tejeda. Dani Hernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jaunti Bonilla in the 38th minute of play. Nilmar Marinho scored 2-1 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nilmar Marinho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chivos de Punto Fijo's Dani Hernández proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Chivos de Punto Fijo from getting a goal against them. Dani Hernández made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Marcial Kusko sent off a good shot on target. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilmar Marinho in the 55th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Cezary Makomaski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. FERRABARCA FC made a substitution. Pan Qiang Ran replaced Matai Larrañaga. FERRABARCA FC's Peruanton Tamayo was substituted for Jaunti Bonilla. The supporters of FERRABARCA FC booed when Chivos de Punto Fijo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cezary Makomaski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Napoleon Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juan Torrent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Cezary Makomaski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 73 minutes into the game, Cezary Makomaski cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Napoleon Dziedelonis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 79 minutes into the match, FERRABARCA FC's Sixto Luix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dani Hernández narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Napoleon Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filip Bochinski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Chivos de Punto Fijo's zone, Sixto Luix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dani Hernández came out of the goal and Sixto Luix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd match minute, FERRABARCA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ron Tobbackers to maneuver through the defense. Juan Torrent recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Filip Bochinski nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Dani Hernández showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Kusko in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st minute Filip Bochinski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Napoleon Dziedelonis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Chivos de Punto Fijo's Juan Torrent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Napoleon Dziedelonis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Juan Torrent managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chivos de Punto Fijo's supporters rose to their feet, but Juan Torrent was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Napoleon Dziedelonis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the FERRABARCA FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chivos de Punto Fijo.
