Valhalla F.C.'s Benicio Larez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Valhalla F.C. from getting a goal against them. Siro Jolis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karim Morientes in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute of the match Valhalla F.C. got a corner. Linterna verde's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bai Yong Yi ran over to the corner to take the kick. Siro Jolis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Benicio Larez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jimeno Piquero in the 44th minute. In the 46th match minute, Valhalla F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Camavinga to maneuver through the defense. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Karim Morientes made the kick off in the second half. The Linterna verde fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Siro Jolis should have stopped the shot. Valhalla F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
