La Mora CAT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nàstic de Tarragona the free kick. After a rather tough play, La Mora CAT's Garoa Ojesto got a free kick in the 11th minute. The supporters of La Mora CAT booed when Nàstic de Tarragona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Augustin Negreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş got control of the ball when Chico Vidales tried to sneak it across the goal line. Şenol Güneş made an important save on a dangerous shot by Chico Vidales in the 20th minute. La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save La Mora CAT from getting a goal against them. After 23 minutes La Mora CAT's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Chico Vidales who took care of the corner kick. Nàstic de Tarragona's Silvano Roca was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Şenol Güneş in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After 27 played minutes La Mora CAT got a freekick which was hit by Aloisio Lastras. Chico Vidales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Şenol Güneş having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Nàstic de Tarragona's goal looked a bit too open when Coronel Andres came free, but Sixto Fraco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sixto Fraco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Jian Chen in the 34th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Hieronim Wlodyga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sixto Fraco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coronel Andres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Chico Vidales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Mora CAT were awarded a corner in the 44th minute after Nàstic de Tarragona's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Garoa Ojesto took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Garoa Ojesto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Sixto Fraco quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Şenol Güneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chico Vidales in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chico Vidales to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Chico Vidales left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nàstic de Tarragona fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Şenol Güneş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chico Vidales in the 55th minute of the match. Coronel Canyelles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sixto Fraco came out and tried to block the shot, but Coronel Canyelles slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. In the 60thth minute of the game Chico Vidales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of La Mora CAT booed when Nàstic de Tarragona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chico Vidales didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Mora CAT made a substitution. Frank Alvarenga replaced Etor Benito. A collision led to Nàstic de Tarragona getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Chico Vidales hit a great ball. 66 minutes into the match, La Mora CAT's goal looked a bit too open when Chico Vidales came free, but Şenol Güneş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nàstic de Tarragona's Javi Bonilla was substituted for Nicodemo Valines. La Mora CAT's Seve Grau was substituted for Du Jian Chen. Nàstic de Tarragona's Iñaki Portillo was substituted for Chico Vidales. Sixto Fraco had great luck who in the 72ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Wayne Rooney from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. With a little luck, Nàstic de Tarragona's Sixto Fraco got control of the ball when Seve Grau tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wayne Rooney in the 75th minute of play forced Nàstic de Tarragona's goalkeeper Sixto Fraco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the game, Seve Grau cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Sixto Fraco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 84 minutes of play, Nàstic de Tarragona's Iñaki Portillo made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Şenol Güneş was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet as Severino Coutinho kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sixto Fraco. That made the score 2-3 in the 86 minute of play. 90 minutes into the match, Nàstic de Tarragona's Iñaki Portillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Şenol Güneş narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sixto Fraco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Coutinho in the 93rd minute of play. The La Mora CAT players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
