Albert Canyelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Coronel Andres in the 5th minute of play. 7 minutes into the match, Red Hawk Football Club's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Coutinho came free, but Albert Canyelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Mora CAT's Du Jian Chen was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Albert Canyelles in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 10 minutes into the game, Martin Suy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La Mora CAT's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Red Hawk Football Club the free kick. A collision led to La Mora CAT getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Boruc Petka hit a great ball. La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carles Miramont in the 12th minute of play. In the 17thth minute of the game Aleix Rosanes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Şenol Güneş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Macia in the 21st minute of play. After 25 minutes, Víctor Hernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mora CAT and the Red Hawk Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Garoa Ojesto during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in La Mora CAT fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Şenol Güneş had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Carles Miramont's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 29th minute Coronel Andres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albert Canyelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Red Hawk Football Club's Albert Canyelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Coutinho in the 35th minute of play. A collision led to La Mora CAT getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Coronel Canyelles hit a great ball. Boruc Petka's late challenge caught a Red Hawk Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boruc Petka helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, La Mora CAT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Boruc Petka to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Macia in the 42nd minute of play forced La Mora CAT's goalkeeper Şenol Güneş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Şenol Güneş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Macia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aloisio Lastras hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Coronel Andres made the kick off in the second half. La Mora CAT's Şenol Güneş played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Macia in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Pascual Macia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albert Canyelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Du Jian Chen in the 59th minute of play. During the 61st minute of the match Víctor Hernandez completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Víctor Hernandez a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 88th minute Ferran Planes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şenol Güneş saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severino Coutinho got free with Albert Canyelles in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute of the match, Severino Coutinho tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Albert Canyelles saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Seve Grau struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Albert Canyelles didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mora CAT.
