Salelles's Truylos Bernal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Du Jian Chen in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Coutinho in the 5th minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Truylos Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc-André Grifoll showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Txema Torres in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pau Gasol in the 11th minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Truylos Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. La Mora CAT were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Salelles's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Severino Coutinho took the corner. Marc-André Grifoll made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulino Marin in the 15th minute. After 15 played minutes Salelles got a freekick which was hit by Cedro Huguet. In the 18th minute Jose Policarpio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Truylos Bernal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Salelles fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 17th minute. Penalty! In the 27th minute, La Mora CAT's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Luke Moya fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paulino Marin's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 29thth minute, Marc-André Grifoll skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cedro Huguet kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Truylos Bernal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Policarpio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Marc-André Grifoll made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in La Mora CAT's zone, Vinicio Turrilla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marc-André Grifoll came out of the goal and Vinicio Turrilla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jose Policarpio in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Truylos Bernal prevented the ball from getting in the gole.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jose Policarpio made a kick off. Coronel Canyelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Truylos Bernal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Coutinho in the 63rd minute of play forced Salelles's goalkeeper Truylos Bernal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Anacleto Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Severino Coutinho took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Truylos Bernal to make any attempt to save it. Salelles's Truylos Bernal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Salelles from getting a goal against them. Marc-André Grifoll showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txema Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Marc-André Grifoll came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Salelles's Paulino Marin. But to his dismay, Paulino Marin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The Salelles supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching La Mora CAT's performance. The match ended with a win for La Mora CAT.
