Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Tiberiu Caramarin started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. MIT's Mihăiţă Ilarie quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Max Josef Justice, made in the 2nd minute of the game. If Tiberiu Caramarin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Calistrat Madgearu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Venceslao, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Soroca F.C.'s Zézinho Neiva managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ivan Vâtcă in the 9 minute of the game. In the 11th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 27 minutes into the match, Tiberiu Caramarin notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist. Dan Wennerqvist was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 31st minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calistrat Madgearu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 minutes of play, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Wennerqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Calistrat Madgearu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 39th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MIT's Romeo Gherghescu got a free kick in the 42nd minute. 44 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Dan Wennerqvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Adrián Espadas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 52nd minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Calistrat Madgearu was a little too slow when Adrián Espadas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 53rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Răzvan Necula replaced Adrián Espadas. Soroca F.C.'s Romulo Thomas was substituted for Gustavo Tartalo. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Caramarin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Balotă charged in rather forcefully in the 71st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Balotă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alex Balotă hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Soroca F.C.'s Rodolfo Atarrabi was substituted for Hernan Lano. In the 73rd match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Balotă to maneuver through the defense. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiberiu Caramarin in the 75th minute of play. Rodolfo Atarrabi came free with the goalkeeper in the 77th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Calistrat Madgearu could save by the left post. MIT made a substitution. Bogdan Bucataru replaced Mihăiţă Ilarie. In the 84th minute, Norberto Liberato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tiberiu Caramarin struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dan Wennerqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MIT. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MIT were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Soroca F.C. for a fine match.
