Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sven-Olof Vestlund started the match with the kick off. The supporters of ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ booed when CAN ERZURUM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cássio Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dong Cheng Si in the 4th minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 5th minute of the match ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ got a corner. CAN ERZURUM's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dong Cheng Si ran over to the corner to take the kick. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Dong Cheng Si was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Joar Scheie in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alejandro Larpe made in the 17th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Vecdet Koçyiğit. Sven-Olof Vestlund blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kasım Okanalp having to make a save. With a little luck, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Kasım Okanalp got control of the ball when Sven-Olof Vestlund tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kasım Okanalp prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necati Temizalp in the 33rd minute of play forced CAN ERZURUM's goalkeeper Joar Scheie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Olof Vestlund took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasım Okanalp. Kasım Okanalp dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's goal looked a bit too open when Birkan Kayra came free, but Kasım Okanalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th minute Necati Temizalp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Scheie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, CAN ERZURUM's goal looked a bit too open when Necati Temizalp came free, but Joar Scheie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dong Cheng Si made a kick off. Kasım Okanalp didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Kasım Okanalp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 56th minute of the match. Kasım Okanalp stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Olof Vestlund's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kasım Okanalp saved ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ from getting behind. Sven-Olof Vestlund struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Kasım Okanalp didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CAN ERZURUM. Joar Scheie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Necati Temizalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven-Olof Vestlund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Charles Puyol replaced Rolando Betadur. CAN ERZURUM made a substitution. Arda Turan replaced Javier Zanetti. A collision led to ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Alejandro Larpe hit a great ball. ÇORUM SPOR KULÜBÜ's Kasım Okanalp played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven-Olof Vestlund in the 88th minute of play. In the 94th minute Sven-Olof Vestlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kasım Okanalp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
