The MIT fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Calistrat Madgearu should have stopped the shot. Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jan Persson in the 23rd minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Büyükçekmece FC.'s Jan Persson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Calistrat Madgearu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Erol Suer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 29th minute of play. Tiberiu Caramarin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erol Suer having to make a save. 35 minutes into the match, Büyükçekmece FC.'s goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Caramarin came free, but Erol Suer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37thth minute of the game Jan Persson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MIT's Calistrat Madgearu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Romeo Gherghescu in the 39th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Büyükçekmece FC.'s Korkutalp Sanih. Tiberiu Caramarin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Erol Suer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tiberiu Caramarin in the 45th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiberiu Caramarin made a kick off. In the 54th minute, MIT's Tiberiu Caramarin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Erol Suer. Erol Suer yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-3. After having played for 62 minutes, Jan Persson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Büyükçekmece FC.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Jan Persson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 68th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Erol Suer, passed just outside the right post. Ivan Vâtcă made in the 73rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Florin Seremet however managed to control. In the 74th minute, Baba Babayaro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baba Babayaro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the game Mihăiţă Ilarie kicked a great long shot which passed Erol Suer straight ahead into the goal, Result 3-4. One couldn't see Mihăiţă Ilarie behind all of his teammates who surrounded to congratulate him. Calistrat Madgearu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jan Persson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Erol Suer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicodim Orășan in the 86th minute. MIT's Bogdan Bucataru was substituted for Mihăiţă Ilarie. MIT made a substitution. Aurel Buzea replaced Florin Seremet. Erol Suer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicodim Orășan in the 91st minute. MIT walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
