The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Doğuhan Serbülend's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anatole Nielispach read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. 8 minutes into the match, Fear Of The Dark's goalkeeper Okanalp Çağman had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Suelo Montana. After having played for 10 minutes, Doğuhan Serbülend managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fear Of The Dark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doğuhan Serbülend was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 15 minutes in the game Adnan Osmanoğlu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Doğan Neşet. Tage Falk struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Okanalp Çağman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palestine. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tage Falk got free with Okanalp Çağman in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Doğuhan Serbülend in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anatole Nielispach saved Palestine from getting behind. After 24 minutes of play, Fear Of The Dark's Doğuhan Serbülend made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anatole Nielispach was left in no man's land by his defense there! Xavier Pestana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fear Of The Dark's Okanalp Çağman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Fear Of The Dark from getting a goal against them. In the 36th minute, Doğuhan Serbülend left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fear Of The Dark fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 42nd minute Doğuhan Serbülend shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anatole Nielispach saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Fear Of The Dark were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tage Falk to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tarık Tayfun during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fear Of The Dark made a substitution. In the 83rd minute Tage Falk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Okanalp Çağman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okanalp Çağman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tarık Tayfun in the 86th minute of the match. Xavier Pestana struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Anatole Nielispach didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fear Of The Dark. Xavier Pestana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Anatole Nielispach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
