In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benny Snel in the 21st minute of play. Tristan Nordlet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benny Snel in the 22nd minute of the match. Sonni Fjøle took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elmar Lexbo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Bent Streyder took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Sonni Fjøle to make any attempt to save it. Tristan Nordlet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benny Snel in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benny Snel in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tristan Nordlet saved Holmkjar Hotspurs from getting behind. Tristan Nordlet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benny Snel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, 邵扬桦 managed to get in a good position for a shot. GFG VOEL's supporters rose to their feet, but 邵扬桦 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Nordlet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ove Makenhauer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sonni Fjøle having to interfere. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Tristan Nordlet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Holmkjar Hotspurs's zone, Benny Snel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tristan Nordlet came out of the goal and Benny Snel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benny Snel to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elmar Lexbo in the 54th minute of play forced GFG VOEL's goalkeeper Sonni Fjøle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tristan Nordlet was a little too slow when Benny Snel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-2. GFG VOEL were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Holmkjar Hotspurs's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Andreas Pirlo took the corner. The corner ended in Andreas Pirlo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Holmkjar Hotspurs's Tristan Nordlet did a great save. 76 minutes into the match, GFG VOEL's goal looked a bit too open when Elmar Lexbo came free, but Sonni Fjøle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chants of GFG VOEL echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Holmkjar Hotspurs had held the ball for most of the match.
