In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seed Town West's goalkeeper Einar Klysnov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A throw-in in the 17th minute of the game was made by Ayvaz Taşkesen with Nikolas Tengbjerg as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After 19 minutes, Kenney Højerby mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seed Town West and the FC Drik players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Seed Town West was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenney Højerby to maneuver through the defense. Ayvaz Taşkesen hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Kenney Højerby struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Ted Kobbeltvedt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Seed Town West. 31 minutes into the match, FC Drik's goal looked a bit too open when Haroldo Napier came free, but Ted Kobbeltvedt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seed Town West's Mai Quan Peng got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Mai Quan Peng put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. Mai Quan Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 41st minute Mai Quan Peng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ted Kobbeltvedt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Mai Quan Peng had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ted Kobbeltvedt. FC Drik's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mai Quan Peng was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. FC Drik's Calvin Townsley was substituted for Gunvald Mitens. After 48 played minutes Seed Town West got a freekick which was hit by Germán Casado. After the first half Seed Town West were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mai Quan Peng was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Haroldo Napier got free with Ted Kobbeltvedt in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Mai Quan Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. FC Drik's Ted Kobbeltvedt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mai Quan Peng in the 56th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mai Quan Peng during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Mai Quan Peng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th minute, Seed Town West's Stor Back seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Stor Back the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Seed Town West protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Stor Back had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Seed Town West! Seed Town West's Witold Kolbe was substituted for Germán Casado. Seed Town West made a substitution. Dan Vøge replaced Haroldo Napier. The supporters of Seed Town West booed when FC Drik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calvin Townsley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mai Quan Peng blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ted Kobbeltvedt having to make a save. Hemming Glykær fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Einar Klysnov having to interfere. Mai Quan Peng sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ted Kobbeltvedt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mai Quan Peng in the 89th minute of the match. Kenney Højerby kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. If Mai Quan Peng had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 96 minutes of play Seed Town West's Kenney Højerby was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. FC Drik's Nikki Krogsbæk was substituted for Denis Schubring. Kenney Højerby kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match.
