Gumisie Rybnik's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Walery Skonieczny ran over to the corner to take the kick. Konrad Tobaczewski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Miromir Pazura made a huge save. Antoni Kosel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ksawery Pilarczyk, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Sliwinski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antoni Kosel having to make a save.
