Stasio Jerzyk started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin booed when Pogoń Stawiszyn was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radoslaw Trojanowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gilbert Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Konrad Tobaczewski in the 3rd minute of the match. Miroslaw Basaik showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Radoslaw Trojanowski in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Miroslaw Basaik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kazimierz Dylla. Walery Skonieczny hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Gilbert Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stasio Jerzyk in the 13th minute of play. Miroslaw Basaik made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Kazimierz Dylla sent off a good shot on target. Miroslaw Basaik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Radoslaw Trojanowski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. In the 18th play minute Kazimierz Dylla came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Miroslaw Basaik. 2-0. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin made a substitution. Nicola Zalewski replaced Konrad Tobaczewski. In the 26th minute, Stasio Jerzyk made a precise shot to the right of Gilbert Podolski. Pogoń Stawiszyn's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Miroslaw Basaik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radoslaw Trojanowski in the 32nd minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Miroslaw Basaik successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Pogoń Stawiszyn getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Kazimierz Dylla hit a great ball. Nicola Zalewski took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilbert Podolski. Gilbert Podolski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. 44 minutes into the match, Bernard Okropny notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski. Gilbert Podolski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 47 minutes into the game, Kazimierz Dylla cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Miroslaw Basaik was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ryszard Pilipiec stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin defense, Radoslaw Trojanowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miroslaw Basaik. The Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miroslaw Basaik should have stopped the shot. 59 minutes into the match, Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalkeeper Gilbert Podolski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stasio Jerzyk. 60 minutes into the game, Bernard Okropny was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pogoń Stawiszyn the free kick. Bernard Okropny hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Miroslaw Basaik showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ryszard Pilipiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. When Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Miroslaw Basaik didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ryszard Pilipiec went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-3 was the resulting score. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin made a substitution. Duda Chaves replaced Teofil Ludwa. Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stasio Jerzyk in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazimierz Dylla in the 78th minute of play forced Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goalkeeper Miroslaw Basaik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski got control of the ball when Bernard Okropny tried to sneak it across the goal line. Artur Rydzewski hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miroslaw Basaik made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-3. Gilbert Podolski made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Bernard Okropny sent off a good shot on target. Nicola Zalewski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Gilbert Podolski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th minute, Artur Rydzewski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes into the match, Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Kazimierz Dylla came free, but Miroslaw Basaik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grabo POGOŃ MKS Szczecin's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
