In the 20th match minute, Pogoń Stawiszyn was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Julian Kossakowski to maneuver through the defense. 21 minutes into the game, Igor Dziewedik was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pogoń Stawiszyn's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gumisie Rybnik the free kick. When the match clock showed 27 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ryszard Pilipiec sped through Gumisie Rybnik's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Miromir Pazura. The referee ignored Gumisie Rybnik's protests and gave Iwo Tyskie a yellow card for diving instead. 46 minutes into the game, one of Gumisie Rybnik:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Miromir Pazura had in the 47thth minute some difficulties stopping Ryszard Pilipiec's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Pogoń Stawiszyn's Ryszard Pilipiec nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Miromir Pazura made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Gumisie Rybnik players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pogoń Stawiszyn were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Borys Banach to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 58thth minute of the game Borys Banach who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pogoń Stawiszyn's Gilbert Podolski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Miromir Pazura stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ryszard Pilipiec's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ksawery Pilarczyk in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Podolski saved Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting behind. Gumisie Rybnik's Miromir Pazura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ryszard Pilipiec in the 69th minute of play. Jacek Kolbe hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Miromir Pazura showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Pilipiec in the 79th minute of the match. Ryszard Pilipiecs short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Miromir Pazura to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Borys Banach in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilbert Podolski saved Pogoń Stawiszyn from getting behind. When Gumisie Rybnik's Ksawery Pilarczyk in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pogoń Stawiszyn's goalie prevented a goal.
