Arkadiusz Smolarek was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Oranjes Zamość's zone, Ryszard Murdza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jaroslaw Bazan came out of the goal and Ryszard Murdza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mieszko Skrzypiec in the 26th minute of play forced Katowice i Kluczbork's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Smolarek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oranjes Zamość's Jaroslaw Bazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimo Toresano in the 29th minute of play. Arkadiusz Smolarek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mieszko Skrzypiec, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boguslaw Olejniczak in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arkadiusz Smolarek prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dimo Toresano hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Katowice i Kluczbork's goal looked a bit too open when Bogdan Mojsiewicz came free, but Arkadiusz Smolarek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek got control of the ball when Mieszko Skrzypiec tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute Boguslaw Olejniczak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arkadiusz Smolarek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Boguslaw Olejniczak came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Oranjes Zamość fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boguslaw Olejniczak couldn't finish the play.
