In the 4th match minute, Brunatni Bełchatów was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antoni Gizynski to maneuver through the defense. Julian Jaszcz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 5th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sonny Ahlerot. Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Sonny Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimo Toresano in the 12th minute of the match. A collision led to Katowice i Kluczbork getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Kaj Skytt hit a great ball. In the 15th minute of the match Bartlomiej Grucza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arkadiusz Smolarek skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Brunatni Bełchatów defense, Roland Laureys kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sonny Ahlerot. The Brunatni Bełchatów fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sonny Ahlerot should have stopped the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Katowice i Kluczbork's Julian Jaszcz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sonny Ahlerot narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Gwidon Tomaka recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Arkadiusz Smolarek. Gwidon Tomaka showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Sonny Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roland Laureys in the 30th minute of play. Sonny Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dimo Toresano in the 31st minute of the match. After 38 minutes of play, Katowice i Kluczbork's Roland Laureys made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sonny Ahlerot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Sonny Ahlerot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldinho Lewandowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. Gwidon Tomaka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Smolarek having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gwidon Tomaka to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimo Toresano in the 53rd minute of play forced Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper Sonny Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, one of Katowice i Kluczbork:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Katowice i Kluczbork. The referee gave Brunatni Bełchatów a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Bartlomiej Grucza, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Katowice i Kluczbork's Arkadiusz Smolarek. 3-2. The supporters of Katowice i Kluczbork booed when Brunatni Bełchatów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antoni Gizynski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 65 played minutes Brunatni Bełchatów got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Gizynski. Dimo Toresano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 69th minute of the match, but Sonny Ahlerot made a huge save. Brunatni Bełchatów's Sonny Ahlerot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimo Toresano in the 71st minute of play. In the 71stth minute of the game Dimo Toresano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brunatni Bełchatów's Sonny Ahlerot was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 74th minute, Dimo Toresano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 78 minutes, Dimo Toresano took a quick shot and it went in 3-3 without a chance for Sonny Ahlerot to make any attempt to save it. If Artur Zajonc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sonny Ahlerot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Bastos in the 88th minute of the match. Brunatni Bełchatów's Sonny Ahlerot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Brunatni Bełchatów from getting a goal against them. Ryszard Murdza received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sonny Ahlerot came out and tried to block the shot, but Ryszard Murdza slotted it home off the left post making it 3-4 in the 91st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Bastos in the 96th minute of play forced Brunatni Bełchatów's goalkeeper Sonny Ahlerot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sonny Ahlerot made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ryszard Murdza in the 98th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 99 minutes, Ryszard Murdza took a quick shot and it went in 3-5 without a chance for Sonny Ahlerot to make any attempt to save it. The Katowice i Kluczbork players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
