Yan Chuan Ling made in the 32nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Goodfellas's Dilmen Parshan. Alvin Viru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Heigo Mustkivi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. In the 39th minute, Kalle Kuuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Alvin Viru sped through Tapa Athlétic™'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Heigo Mustkivi. The Tapa Athlétic™ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Goodfellas were winning 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvin Viru to make the kick off. Heigo Mustkivi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvin Viru's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. FC Goodfellas's Hubert Pentjärv was substituted for Alvin Viru. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Tapa Athlétic™'s goalkeeper Heigo Mustkivi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hubert Pentjärv struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Heigo Mustkivi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Goodfellas. Tapa Athlétic™'s Roland Muusik was substituted for Gheorghiţă Hagi. Tapa Athlétic™'s Heigo Mustkivi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hubert Pentjärv in the 81st minute of play. Zé Galvão stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mugurel Chiriloaie's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. If Kalju Palk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 90 minutes into the match, FC Goodfellas's Hubert Pentjärv sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Heigo Mustkivi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had been going on for 93 minutes, FC Goodfellas's Hubert Pentjärv got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Heigo Mustkivi. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched FC Goodfellas eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
