Erdinç Talayman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Margus Edesi having to make a save. In the 20th match minute, Rymu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mark Hakk to maneuver through the defense. JK Päntajalad's Juhan Aar couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Rymu. The supporters of Rymu booed when JK Päntajalad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Keijo Aare didn't get a good kick on the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Jiang Mo Wen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Margus Edesi. JK Päntajalad's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jiang Mo Wen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Margus Edesi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdinç Talayman in the 32nd minute of play. Margus Edesi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kong Lin Yu's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Helari Hunt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juhan Aar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 41 minutes into the game, Erdinç Talayman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Margus Edesi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jiang Mo Wen in the 45th minute of play forced JK Päntajalad's goalkeeper Margus Edesi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 47 minutes into the game, when Keijo Aare put in a rough tackle. Margus Edesi had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Ennu Vainola's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kong Lin Yu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, JK Päntajalad's Juhan Aar got a free kick in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, JK Päntajalad's goalkeeper Margus Edesi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kong Lin Yu. Helari Hunt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dardanos Gaitanis, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Margus Edesi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jiang Mo Wen went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Tambet Hanni scored 0-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Margus Edesi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rymu made a substitution. Silver Särg replaced Jiang Mo Wen. A hard shot 79 in the game by Kong Lin Yu from a close distance when the talented Margus Edesi managed to make a qualified save. JK Päntajalad's players were relieved. Margus Edesi made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Kong Lin Yu sent off a good shot on target. The JK Päntajalad supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rymu's performance. The match ended with a win for Rymu.
