Pavel Karind hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Jorginho Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tõnu Kari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, JULM C.F.'s Ma Tian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gabriel Arias narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match JULM C.F. got a corner. cruzados de gloria's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tiburcio Lejalde ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Ben Kiesel managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. With an all-out effort, JULM C.F.'s Gabriel Arias threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Enrique Saura, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Gabriel Arias showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ma Tian, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Abelardo Toledo hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Ben Kiesel hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Abelardo Toledo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ma Tian in the 55th minute of play forced cruzados de gloria's goalkeeper Gabriel Arias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 58 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Pavel Karind sped through JULM C.F.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jorginho Brodel. Ma Tian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 64 minutes into the match, cruzados de gloria's goal looked a bit too open when Ma Tian came free, but Gabriel Arias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the cruzados de gloria defense, Ma Tian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Arias. The cruzados de gloria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Arias should have stopped the shot. Gabriel Arias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ma Tian's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The JULM C.F. fans cheered their team off the field, for while cruzados de gloria had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
