The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. ErbaA KartaLı's Frank Fiori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Damião in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes, Ensar Açar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ErbaA KartaLı and the Carno FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes ErbaA KartaLı got a freekick which was hit by Ensar Açar. Korneliusz Piglowski took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 6th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Frank Fiori. ErbaA KartaLı's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Carno FK's Douglas Damião in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ErbaA KartaLı's goalie prevented a goal. The corner led Carno FK's Korneliusz Piglowski to fire away a dangerous shot which Frank Fiori despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After a rather tough play, ErbaA KartaLı's Alesandro Nesta got a free kick in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hamdullah Kaplan was the one to do the kick off. ErbaA KartaLı's Abdullatif Zafer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by İdris Akgün, made in the 54th minute of the game. In the 58th match minute, Carno FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Şenel Rafet to maneuver through the defense. Ilgaz Azimoğlu's late challenge caught a Carno FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ilgaz Azimoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Ilgaz Azimoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to ErbaA KartaLı getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Joseph Yobo hit a great ball. In the 66thth minute of the game Douglas Damião who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ErbaA KartaLı's Frank Fiori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, ErbaA KartaLı's Frank Fiori got control of the ball when Douglas Damião tried to sneak it across the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Carno FK's Douglas Damião slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Frank Fiori. That made the score 0-4 after 69 minutes of play. Carno FK made a substitution. Victoro Soto replaced Douglas Damião. Carno FK's Fehmi Akçiçek was substituted for Karhan Topçay. The supporters of Carno FK booed when ErbaA KartaLı was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Suat Uygun didn't get a good kick on the ball. Şenel Rafet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frank Fiori having to interfere. Frank Fiori yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. After 94 played minutes Carno FK got a freekick which was hit by Nurettin Tun. The ErbaA KartaLı fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Carno FK were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
