Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Tiberiu Caramarin made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes had been played when some careless play by MIT's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Florentino Greatwich was slow to take the kick. During this time Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ferdi Eriş got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Calistrat Madgearu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 8th minute, Benedykt Lanczak ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Calistrat Madgearu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 11 minutes into the match, Benedykt Lanczak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. MIT's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedykt Lanczak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. MIT's Radu Sărăroiu quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ferdi Eriş, made in the 16th minute of the game. Tiberiu Caramarin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Tiberiu Caramarin made a precise shot to the right of Onur-Recep Kıvrak. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ahmet Hamdi Baran hit a great ball. In the 25th minute, Benedykt Lanczak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 28 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Benedykt Lanczak sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calistrat Madgearu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tiberiu Caramarin got free with Onur-Recep Kıvrak in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Onur-Recep Kıvrak made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Tiberiu Caramarin sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute of the match MIT got a corner. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mihăiţă Ilarie ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Nicodim Orășan drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper. Benedykt Lanczak struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Calistrat Madgearu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alex Balotă during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th match minute, MIT was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Balotă to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Florentino Greatwich shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Calistrat Madgearu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Calistrat Madgearu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedykt Lanczak in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Banu in the 62nd minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Onur-Recep Kıvrak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benedykt Lanczak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ made a substitution. Yağız Macit replaced Anastasio Jurdan. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Deng Jie Wei was substituted for Benedykt Lanczak. MIT's David Tunander was substituted for Dorin Banu. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Deng Jie Wei put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Calistrat Madgearu. In the 77th minute Tiberiu Caramarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Onur-Recep Kıvrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers David Tunander in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Onur-Recep Kıvrak saved Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ from getting behind. MIT's David Tunander managed to work through Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. David Tunander dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Behzat Tanyeli hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's zone, Bogdan Bucataru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Onur-Recep Kıvrak came out of the goal and Bogdan Bucataru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ahmet Hamdi Baran recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 91 played minutes MIT got a freekick which was hit by Ivan Vâtcă. With a little luck, MIT's Calistrat Madgearu got control of the ball when Deng Jie Wei tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
