With a left leg Miks Lecis saved Cometuétano from getting behind. 6 minutes into the match, Asturcones d´la Abadía's goalkeeper Ermegildo Delgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zigor Barroso. Zigor Barroso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ermegildo Delgado made a huge save. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leroy Vera in the 18th minute of play. Cometuétano's Miks Lecis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xurxo Lagunas in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zigor Barroso got free with Ermegildo Delgado in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute of the match, Argenis Coira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ermegildo Delgado saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Miks Lecis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Tormes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute Argenis Coira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Delgado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Alejandro Fernandez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Veremundo Lastras kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno Tormes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miks Lecis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Xurxo Lagunas in the 51st minute. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zigor Barroso in the 53rd minute of play. In the 59thth minute of the game Zigor Barroso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Asturcones d´la Abadía's Ermegildo Delgado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Xurxo Lagunas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miks Lecis was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 64th minute of the match, Filomeno Tormes got a very nice opportunity to score, but Miks Lecis was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. With a little luck, Cometuétano's Miks Lecis got control of the ball when Filomeno Tormes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Asturcones d´la Abadía's Montrel Olmedo was substituted for Angelo Esteban. Cometuétano made a substitution. Kepa Portillo replaced Alejandro Sevilla. Leroy Vera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cometuétano booed when Asturcones d´la Abadía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Muzaffer Yürük didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Cometuétano's Miks Lecis got control of the ball when Xurxo Lagunas tried to sneak it across the goal line. Veremundo Lastras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Miks Lecis made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Veremundo Lastras ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Miks Lecis. Miks Lecis yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-1. Veremundo Lastras fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miks Lecis having to interfere. Alejandro Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Miks Lecis made a huge save.

The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Asturcones d´la Abadía eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
