The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Qiao Wen scored 0-1 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ermegildo Delgado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ermegildo Delgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romelu Haaland in the 8th minute of play. Gyula Szigligeti hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Ekain De Pablo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in PreservemospolladeaguaFC's zone, Xurxo Lagunas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oktay Özdoğal came out of the goal and Xurxo Lagunas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Oktay Özdoğal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veremundo Lastras in the 24th minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Veremundo Lastras made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oktay Özdoğal was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Xurxo Lagunas in the 33rd minute of play forced PreservemospolladeaguaFC's goalkeeper Oktay Özdoğal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to PreservemospolladeaguaFC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Romelu Haaland hit a great ball. Veremundo Lastras recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Oktay Özdoğal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veremundo Lastras in the 41st minute of play. After some careless play in the Asturcones d´la Abadía defense, Firmo Pene kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ermegildo Delgado. The Asturcones d´la Abadía fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ermegildo Delgado should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Xurxo Lagunas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oktay Özdoğal, 2-2. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romelu Haaland to strike the kick off in the second half. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romelu Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bobbo Mira in the 56th minute of play forced Asturcones d´la Abadía's goalkeeper Ermegildo Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Delgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romelu Haaland, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Veremundo Lastras in the 64th minute of play forced PreservemospolladeaguaFC's goalkeeper Oktay Özdoğal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Delgado made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Firmo Pene sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bobbo Mira during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 70th minute, Bobbo Mira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Loreto Campos was substituted for Cai Redondo. Bobbo Mira kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Xurxo Lagunas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asturcones d´la Abadía's supporters rose to their feet, but Xurxo Lagunas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oktay Özdoğal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Poncio Gala was substituted for Bobbo Mira. The corner led Asturcones d´la Abadía's Filomeno Tormes to fire away a dangerous shot which Oktay Özdoğal despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Oktay Özdoğal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Tormes in the 80th minute of the match. Oktay Özdoğal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xurxo Lagunas in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Veremundo Lastras got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Asturcones d´la Abadía's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Filomeno Tormes in the 87th minute. After 88 played minutes Filomeno Tormes shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for PreservemospolladeaguaFC's Oktay Özdoğal to catch but Filomeno Tormes was lucky. It became 3-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Oktay Özdoğal came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas. But to his dismay, Xurxo Lagunas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2.
