The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Filomeno Tormes came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Asturcones d´la Abadía fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Tormes couldn't finish the play. After 6 played minutes Real Armal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Ballesteros. 9 minutes into the game, Filomeno Tormes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sigfrido Teruel. Filomeno Tormes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 2-0 became the score in the 12th minute when Xurxo Lagunas elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Filomeno Tormes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Sigfrido Teruel made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Real Armal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Veremundo Lastras came free, but Sigfrido Teruel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sigfrido Teruel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Filomeno Tormes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute, Sigfrido Teruel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 32 in the game by Filomeno Tormes from a close distance when the talented Sigfrido Teruel managed to make a qualified save. Real Armal F.C.'s players were relieved. Angelo Delgado's late challenge caught a Asturcones d´la Abadía's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Delgado helped the player get up and apologised. Alejandro Fernandez received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Sigfrido Teruel came out and tried to block the shot, but Alejandro Fernandez slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 35th minute. In the 40th minute, Veremundo Lastras reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Sigfrido Teruel. The goal made the score 7-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 7-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fernando Ballesteros made a kick off. Filomeno Tormes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Xurxo Lagunas took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sigfrido Teruel. Sigfrido Teruel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Sigfrido Teruel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Tormes in the 57th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Real Armal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Veremundo Lastras came free, but Sigfrido Teruel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Real Armal F.C. defense, Xurxo Lagunas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sigfrido Teruel. The Real Armal F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sigfrido Teruel should have stopped the shot. If Veremundo Lastras had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 67 minutes into the match, Real Armal F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Filomeno Tormes came free, but Sigfrido Teruel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernando Ballesteros was shown his second yellow card after 67 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 68th minute, Fernando Ballesteros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xurxo Lagunas in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sigfrido Teruel saved Real Armal F.C. from getting behind. In the 70th minute, Veremundo Lastras left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Asturcones d´la Abadía fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 10-0. Xurxo Lagunas took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sigfrido Teruel. Sigfrido Teruel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 11-0. Sigfrido Teruel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurxo Lagunas in the 79th minute of the match. When Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The Asturcones d´la Abadía fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Asturcones d´la Abadía's Xurxo Lagunas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 12-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Xurxo Lagunas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sigfrido Teruel was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. 88 minutes into the match, Filomeno Tormes notched a goal, 14-0, to the right of Real Armal F.C.'s Sigfrido Teruel. Sigfrido Teruel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sigfrido Teruel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Urbano Arnalt in the 91st minute of the match. Veremundo Lastras scored 15-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sigfrido Teruel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 16-0 when Filomeno Tormes sped through Real Armal F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sigfrido Teruel. There was no doubt that Asturcones d´la Abadía were the better team. Asturcones d´la Abadía's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
