Cai Ocaña's late challenge caught a Melandru de Cenero's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cai Ocaña helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th minute, Cai Ocaña hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Fabio Cienfuegos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Melandru de Cenero's Joachim Incera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juan Carlos Suciu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute, Abdika Philip ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Andrea Perez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. With a little luck, Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu got control of the ball when Joachim Incera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Juan Carlos Suciu made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Xurdin Pena sent off a good shot on target. Juan Carlos Suciu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everett Gerber in the 29th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everett Gerber in the 32nd minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Carlos Suciu was out of position in the 32 minute of play, and Everett Gerber capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Everett Gerber really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Abdika Philip might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Andrea Perez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abdika Philip ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 38th minute Abdika Philip shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrea Perez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonards Štucers got a throw-in 43 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Xicu Prieto. 47 minutes into the game, Juan Dominguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salud y República's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melandru de Cenero the free kick. The supporters of Melandru de Cenero booed when Salud y República was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juan Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 48th minute by Xurdin Pena got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Xurdin Pena made the kick off in the second half. Salud y República's Juan Carlos Suciu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everett Gerber in the 52nd minute of play. In the 52nd match minute, Salud y República was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rey Guillotin to maneuver through the defense. Ximen Feria kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Juan Carlos Suciu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everett Gerber, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Juan Carlos Suciu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabio Cienfuegos in the 58th minute of the match. In the 58th match minute, Salud y República was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Dominguez to maneuver through the defense. Leonards Štucers made in the 63rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Salud y República's Cai Ocaña. In the 64th minute Xurdin Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carlos Suciu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Salud y República getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Cai Ocaña hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Salud y República's zone, Joachim Incera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal and Joachim Incera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ximen Feria hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Melandru de Cenero's Andrea Perez got control of the ball when Abdika Philip tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Salud y República getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Juan Dominguez hit a great ball. After 86 minutes of play Salud y República's Juan Dominguez was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 87 played minutes Salud y República got a freekick which was hit by Juan Dominguez. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everett Gerber in the 89th minute of play forced Salud y República's goalkeeper Juan Carlos Suciu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Carlos Suciu came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Melandru de Cenero's Everett Gerber. But to his dismay, Everett Gerber quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Melandru de Cenero fully deserved thier win.
