Vetusta's Ray De Lauw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elian Benedicto in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Ascencio Quintas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antonio Canal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Canal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ascencio Quintas in the 11th minute of play. Ray De Lauw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Berasko in the 12th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Antonio Canal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Villawalter City's zone, Ascencio Quintas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Antonio Canal came out of the goal and Ascencio Quintas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Antonio Canal. Antonio Canal yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ray De Lauw showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mino Puig in the 33rd minute of the match. The supporters of Vetusta booed when Villawalter City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Coronel Revuelta didn't get a good kick on the ball. 39 minutes into the game, Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Antonio Canal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Antonio Canal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose-Manuel Jauregui in the 42nd minute of play. Ray De Lauw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gomesano Cayuela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Ascencio Quintas in the 52nd minute of play forced Villawalter City's goalkeeper Antonio Canal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Antonio Canal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ascencio Quintas's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute. After 55 played minutes Vetusta got a freekick which was hit by Hanot Perdices. After a defensive mix-up in Vetusta's zone, Sebastián Olivarez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ray De Lauw came out of the goal and Sebastián Olivarez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Elian Benedicto kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ray De Lauw. That made the score 2-1 in the 57 minute of play. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ascencio Quintas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 63 minutes into the match, Vetusta's goalkeeper Ray De Lauw had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zbyszek Kapinos. Vetusta's Ray De Lauw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gomesano Cayuela in the 65th minute of play. Antonio Canal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ascencio Quintas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Vetusta's Ray De Lauw got control of the ball when Gomesano Cayuela tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 71 minutes of play, Vetusta's Ascencio Quintas made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After having played for 78 minutes, Ascencio Quintas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vetusta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ascencio Quintas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vetusta made a substitution. Normando Veloso replaced Jose-Manuel Jauregui. Ascencio Quintas might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Canal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ascencio Quintas ran back to his position shaking his head. 82 minutes into the match, Villawalter City's goal looked a bit too open when Ascencio Quintas came free, but Antonio Canal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Vetusta's Normando Veloso got a free kick in the 84th minute. Vetusta's Marco Palomar was substituted for Ascencio Quintas. Marco Palomar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Canal having to make a save. Antonio Canal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marco Palomar, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Villawalter City's Antonio Canal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Palomar in the 93rd minute of play.
