An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Fidele in the 5th minute of play forced Les Tigres's goalkeeper Gonzo Maradona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gonzo Maradona didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Justino Gotzon went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 13th minute, Venancio Prejun made a precise shot to the right of Orlando Rivera. Todos al Fondo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Justino Gotzon might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gonzo Maradona. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Justino Gotzon ran back to his position shaking his head. Todos al Fondo's Justino Gotzon suffered a sore thigh after 22 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Luboš Štencl fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Les Tigres's protests and gave Luboš Štencl a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Luboš Štencl hit a great ball. Les Tigres's Severino Estevez quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Frank Beckenbauer, made in the 37th minute of the game. The throw-in from Frank Beckenbauer in the 41st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Les Tigres's Grzegorz Sokolski. Gonzo Maradona made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yu Nan Li in the 47th minute of play. In the 48th minute, Severino Estevez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Les Tigres getting a freekick after 49 minutes play. Severino Estevez hit a great ball.

A sloppy throw-in by Alex Sandóval in the 55th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Les Tigres's Luboš Štencl. Ömer-Asaf Güneş might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Rivera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer-Asaf Güneş ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 58th minute Ömer-Asaf Güneş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 60 minutes into the match, Todos al Fondo's goal looked a bit too open when Ömer-Asaf Güneş came free, but Orlando Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ömer-Asaf Güneş might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Orlando Rivera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ömer-Asaf Güneş ran back to his position shaking his head. Orlando Rivera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ömer-Asaf Güneş, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Todos al Fondo made a substitution. Maurito Boselli replaced Pascual Eliazar. Todos al Fondo's Junior Lamela was substituted for Jacobo Fidele. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yu Nan Li got free with Gonzo Maradona in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ömer-Asaf Güneş blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Rivera having to make a save. Todos al Fondo's Orlando Rivera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ömer-Asaf Güneş in the 82nd minute of play. Alex Sandóval hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Ömer-Asaf Güneş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Rivera having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Ömer-Asaf Güneş had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Orlando Rivera. Todos al Fondo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ömer-Asaf Güneş was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 94 played minutes Les Tigres got a freekick which was hit by Eray Toprak. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Les Tigres fans cheered their team off the field, for while Todos al Fondo had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
