The corner went over the outstretched arms of ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalie and right to Hernan Lano. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 20 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Layton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gustavo Tartalo was slow to take the kick. During this time Soroca F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Darrigrande in the 23rd minute of play. After 30 minutes of play, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Carlo Darrigrande made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Wennerqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Roberto Layton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrián Espadas, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Iordanis Karatzaferis with Adrián Espadas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Lano in the 40th minute of play forced ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalkeeper Roberto Layton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute, Carlo Darrigrande ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dan Wennerqvist was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Gora Dam made in the 51st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Orlando Mangueira immediately put the ball in play. With a little luck, ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Roberto Layton got control of the ball when Adrián Espadas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 53rd minute Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner. Gustavo Tartalo went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Soroca F.C.'s corner Gustavo Tartalo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roberto Layton quite easily take care of the ball. Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlo Darrigrande in the 56th minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Carlo Darrigrande's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. In the 69th minute Carlo Darrigrande shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Adrián Espadas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆ made a substitution. Eliézer Prata replaced Gora Dam. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Jamar Eldridge was substituted for Mo Qi Yu. ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s Peter Swan was substituted for Carlo Darrigrande. 74 minutes into the game, Peter Swan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dan Wennerqvist was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dan Wennerqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Swan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Peter Swan in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dan Wennerqvist saved Soroca F.C. from getting behind. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 90th minute of play forced ChAяRuA ϒ KaяβoηEяO ☆'s goalkeeper Roberto Layton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Rodolfo Atarrabi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roberto Layton was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Soroca F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
