Stacy Doll started the match with the kick off. Anfilogino Tolin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Estevez in the 8th minute of the match. Gonzo Maradona made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lázaro Ledesma in the 9th minute. Aerolineas Argentinas FC's Anfilogino Tolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Venancio Prejun in the 14th minute of play. If Stacy Doll had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute Stacy Doll shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzo Maradona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anfilogino Tolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Venancio Prejun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 34 minutes into the match, Aerolineas Argentinas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Estevez came free, but Anfilogino Tolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Les Tigres's Ömer-Asaf Güneş was substituted for Venancio Prejun. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ömer-Asaf Güneş to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Evaristo Cordareo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gonzo Maradona. A nice corner shot did that Sebastián Erasto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gonzo Maradona quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 90th minute, Evaristo Cordareo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gonzo Maradona was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
