In the 7th minute, Justino Gotzon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnoud de Pelsmakere. The goal made the score 2-0. A collision led to Cougars FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Wladimir Herrera hit a great ball. Justino Gotzon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a huge save. Justino Gotzon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Justino Gotzon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cougars FC's Arnoud de Pelsmakere was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Todos al Fondo's Michael Klein shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 34th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Arnoud de Pelsmakere but with some difficulty. In the 39th minute, Fiori Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 42 minutes, Mehat Kovaçi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cougars FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mehat Kovaçi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Todos al Fondo's attentive Thiago Payet managed to snatch the ball when Horia Păuceanu made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. In the 62nd minute Cougars FC were awarded a corner. Angel Morales went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Cougars FC's Angel Morales to fire away a dangerous shot which Orlando Rivera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Bianco Natale struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Orlando Rivera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cougars FC. The referee felt a red card was in order, 71 minutes into the game, when Leonel Solo put in a rough tackle. Cougars FC made a substitution. Sergio Pérez replaced Angel Morales. Cougars FC's Steffen Gimlinge was substituted for Mehat Kovaçi. Cougars FC:s Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed great skill when he stopped Tiémoué Bakayoko:s penalty. Gerardo Nesto hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute of the match Michael Klein shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnoud de Pelsmakere showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th minute Fiori Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnoud de Pelsmakere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurito Boselli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Todos al Fondo's Orlando Rivera got control of the ball when Steffen Gimlinge tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Todos al Fondo fans cheered their team off the field, for while Cougars FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
