Erdinç Sarıalp made in the 40th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Levent Itzov immediately put the ball in play. The audience thought a goal was coming when D.J. 赵云 got free with Arnoud de Pelsmakere in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnoud de Pelsmakere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Cougars FC's Gerardo Nesto was substituted for Angel Morales. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cougars FC's goalkeeper Arnoud de Pelsmakere, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gothic Souls's Lemi Uğurlubey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffen Gimlinge in the 86th minute of play. Erhan Ascı's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 97thth minute, Arnoud de Pelsmakere skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Gothic Souls's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
