Omar Abadia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 11 minutes into the match, Vikingos FC's goalkeeper Sebastián Sosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Franco Beccari. After a rather tough play, Vikingos FC's Paolo-César Maldini got a free kick in the 15th minute. Severino Rojas was slow to take the kick. During this time Barbudos FC's players had a chance to rest. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Isidro Oliviero advanced and headed the ball into goal, 1-1 in the 26th minute. Sebastián Sosa made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Franco Beccari sent off a good shot on target. Omar Abadia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Vikingos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yin Qian Han was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2.
