In the 27th match minute, Barbudos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Panayot Lilovski to maneuver through the defense. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidro Oliviero in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute of the game Saverio Medardo made a throw-in which Lucrețiu Filipașcu played forward. Sebastián Sosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidro Oliviero in the 59th minute of the match. Vladimiro Lauro took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Omar Abadia. Omar Abadia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Barbudos FC's Gareth Bala was substituted for Marcial Claris. The supporters of Vikingos FC booed when Barbudos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severino Rojas hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Ladislao Erramu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Abadia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vikingos FC made a substitution. Victor Abaurre replaced Roque Vito.
