Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vladimiro Lauro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Sebastián Sosa made a fantastic save in the 2nd minute, when Mon Postigo sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Carlos Zambrano got a free kick in the 5th minute. After 12 minutes, Salvador Montrell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Universitario and the Vikingos FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Salvador Montrell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ladislao Asur kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Vikingos FC's Sebastián Sosa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Vikingos FC from getting a goal against them. 26 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Lauro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xavies Berrez. Universitario's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Lauro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 30th minute, Roque Vito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastián Sosa made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Mon Postigo sent off a good shot on target. 34 minutes into the match, Universitario's Mon Postigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebastián Sosa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 42 minutes into the match, Universitario's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Lauro came free, but Xavies Berrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Vikingos FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mon Postigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Lauro in the 55th minute of play forced Universitario's goalkeeper Xavies Berrez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute of the game Ladislao Asur made a throw-in which Aquilino Masdeu played forward. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Ladislao Erramu took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Xavies Berrez to make any attempt to save it. In the 94th minute, Ladislao Erramu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vikingos FC played a much better game than Universitario and deserved their victory. The Universitario players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
