Jose Boldu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Joao Montanez went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Jose Boldu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tibor Nyilasi in the 37th minute of the match. Joao Montanez took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jose Boldu. Jose Boldu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erruki Velarroa in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zoil Pequeño was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Deportivo ScrugenFC defense, Joao Montanez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jose Boldu. The Deportivo ScrugenFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jose Boldu should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Deportivo ScrugenFC booed when Deportivo Popolizio FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Trasagua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Cris Ronaldo was substituted for Tibor Nyilasi. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Nils Gielis was substituted for Erruki Velarroa. Bartolo Basualdo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jose Boldu having to make a save. In the 76th minute, Zoil Pequeño ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hermann Hesse was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After 85 played minutes Deportivo ScrugenFC got a freekick which was hit by Regis Padriña. Deportivo ScrugenFC's Tao Lei Le was substituted for Zeng Jian Cheng. In the 87th match minute, Deportivo ScrugenFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Regis Padriña to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cris Ronaldo in the 88th minute of play forced Deportivo ScrugenFC's goalkeeper Jose Boldu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Leobardo Padierna came free, but Hermann Hesse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Fortun Bobes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hermann Hesse quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jose Boldu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Basualdo in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Deportivo Popolizio FBC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Deportivo ScrugenFC throughout the match.
