After some careless play in the Estrella Roja Фк defense, Bartolo Basualdo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Maido Hindpere. The Estrella Roja Фк fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Maido Hindpere should have stopped the shot. In the 35thth minute of the game Filiberto Phelipe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With his leg Hermann Hesse managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Estrella Roja Фк's Ulryk Pietras fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 42nd minute, Bartolo Basualdo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Hermann Hesse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauan de Andrade in the 45th minute of play. In the 45th minute Kauan de Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermann Hesse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th match minute, Estrella Roja Фк was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lothar Mateus to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Maido Hindpere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bartolo Basualdo's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute.
