After taking down the ball on Cavaliers FC's corner Teofilo Mikeldi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Franc Merlot quite easily take care of the ball. 36 minutes into the match, Sebastián Villa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Franc Merlot. TiGrEs Fx's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sebastián Villa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 45 minutes into the match, Gilberto Rancaño notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas. Cornelio Villegas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Sebastián Villa made the kick off in the second half. Ambrosio Iratxo made in the 52nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marcos Monsanto immediately put the ball in play. After 55 played minutes TiGrEs Fx got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Matute. TiGrEs Fx made a substitution. Junior Saron replaced José Madero. Joaquim Matute hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Junior Saron made in the 57th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Cavaliers FC's Marcos Monsanto. In the 57th minute, Marcos Monsanto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 played minutes Cavaliers FC got a freekick which was hit by Adolfo Umea. Cavaliers FC's Marcos Arano was substituted for Sebastián Villa. If Joaquim Matute had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cavaliers FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Villegas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cavaliers FC's Cornelio Villegas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Cavaliers FC from getting a goal against them. Franc Merlot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Desiderio Rami in the 83rd minute of the match. After having played for 84 minutes, Joaquim Matute managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TiGrEs Fx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joaquim Matute was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TiGrEs Fx's attentive Mister Peet managed to snatch the ball when Rodrigo Etor made a throw-in in the 90th minute of the game. Cornelio Villegas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Rancaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Franc Merlot didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Desiderio Rami went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score.
